Three things to think about before booking a business photography session

You've decided your business photography needs updating. You need a new headshot and images for your website and social media, something to show clients who you are, what you do, or how you do it.

Great! You've made the first step. What now?

Things to think about and discuss with your photographer ahead of time:

1. Where would you like to be photographed?

Do you want to show your place of work, be pictured while working, or just in front of a nice clean background? Or perhaps you'd like to get out and about to show your connection to the local area? Take time to decide, though you can choose multiple options!

2. How would you like to be photographed?

Do you need to look smart and professional, or is a casual outfit more your style? Do you want a head and shoulders corporate style photo, or show off a bit more of your personality and variety? Again, you can do it all, just plan ahead.

3. Who would you like to be photographed with?

Should you invite your staff or colleagues to the shoot? Maybe have a picture with your family if that suits your business? Or even include your pet if you work with animals!

There are no right or wrong answers!

All these things are great to consider prior to your photo shoot. You can always discuss your concepts and needs with me, and we'll come up with a suitable plan of action.

Don't be afraid to ask questions and present your ideas, even if they seem complicated or unusual. I'll always work with you to achieve what you want, or propose an alternative if needed.

I look forward to hearing all about your business and to creating beautiful images to help elevate your brand.
